A: Extensions shouldn't damage hair when applied correctly and if you care for them in accordance with the after care sheet you will be provided with.

Q: How long do the hair extensions last?
A: With correct aftercare and maintenance your extension should last 2 - 3 months. Virgin Hair with all cuticles aligned, should last you at least 1 year and balmain hair will last 6monthis with proper maintenance.

Q: Can I dye them?
A: Yes you can dye the hair if it is virgin hair, although it is advisable to do a strand test as your own hair may dye a different colour to the extension hair.

Q: Can I brush, curl, blowdry, straighten and wash the hair?
A: Yes you can do all of the above. Using a heat protection spray will help prevent damage to the hair and also keep heat away from the bonds.

Q: How long will it take to apply hair extensions?
A: This usually depends on the client's hair and the thickness of it, but usually a full head takes 4 hours on average and a half head takes around 1-2 hours.

Q: Will people be able to tell that I'm wearing extensions?
A: No, one will be able to tell you have extensions because i will blend them with your own hair.The colour match will be completely the same as your own hair and they will look completely natural.

Q: Do I wash hair extension as normal?
A: Human hair can be washed as normal, you can buy aftercare range of products that are very mild and low ph shampoos and are manufactured especially for hair extensions.

Q: What types of product should i use?
A: Moisture is very important, Use styling products that are zero or low alcohol. Spray in conditioners and glossifiers are wonderful for the ends

Q: How much is the maintenance and how long does it take?
A: Maintenance is scheduled every 4 to 8 weeks depending on the method use, the cost start from £100- £120, and will take between 45 minutes to 1hour.

Q: Can I go swimming with them?
A: You can go swimming with them, however activities like swimming can dry out the hair extensions so it is advisable to wear a swimming cap. If you do go swimming please ensure to thoroughly wash and dry the hair extensions properly afterwards as they can get knotted.
